What do you know about fighting?
What do you do when you are fighting to make a difference in the world in one breathe and fighting to make a difference in your own life in the next breath!? You get crystal clear on what you’re fighting for and you continue to fight for all that you know you were created to be!
You are fighting against the voice in your head that creeps in and says: You are Not Enough, Who do you think you are, Look at so-in-so..she’s better, Not Now, I need to learn more before I pursue my passion, I’ll wait until my children graduate college, I’m too old / young, I need a degree, I need money, I need more time,…etc.
You see my friend, none of us are exempt! It’s just some of us have the courage to fight and continue to fight, in-spite of! When self-doubt tries to take over your life, literally shake your head side-to-side and acknowledge its presence then address it, speak your truth and decide in that very moment that you are a conqueror and will not be defeated!! You have the ability to BE your Best Cheerleader or your worse dream killer! It’s all in your mind. Be aware. Be awakened. Be determined. Be authentically you.
Be open and allow amazing things to come to you just by being OPENED to the possibility! The key is to get out of your head and Do what you gotta do! know that when it’s You against YOU, the real you always has the POWER to Win!
I always loved Rocky Balboa! His character was real to me, he inspired me and still does. Each fight, I witnessed him get beat down but get back up!!! As soft, passionate, loving and graceful that I am, I felt the need to charge up the fighter in me and remind you. You are a fighter! In the words of Rocky,
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that! Rocky
