We can get so caught up on the small things that we lose focus on the main thing. These small things become distractions and cause us to lose focus in our lives and businesses. I call this being everywhere but nowhere. This happened to me a few months ago. I was so eager to get my message to the world in a BIG way that I would do a little bit of this and a little bit of that ultimately not seeing the results I intended because I was spread way too thin. I was so frustrated I did just enough to get by and played with the idea of maybe this entrepreneur thing wasn’t for me.

It was only in the sweetness of doing nothing and visiting lakes and parks that I was able to compartmentalize my frustrations and hone in on what I really desired. From there, I designed a very specific productive action plan.

1. The first thing you must do is Get Clarity. Clarity gives you direction. It is very important that you understand what you truly desire opposed to what you think you can accomplish. A question I have my clients ask themselves is: If time and money weren’t issues what would you be doing? Being clear on what you want in life is your compass and leaves you with a feeling of direction.
2. The second thing you must do is Focus. I mean laser focus. Create a plan and take inspired action on your plan.

Clarity and FOCUS are 2 attributes if not applied; the chances of achieving your Dreams are very slim. I’m talking about the type of clarity that you KNOW without a shadow of a doubt what you want, how you want it and WHY YOU Want It. This doesn’t mean that doubt and Fear will not come up along the journey. It simply means that because you know that you know that you know; You know YOU will NOT give up because you have a plan that you are working towards and you see your vision crystal clear!

It is also imperative to know your WHY.

• Why are you striving to live out your dreams.
• Who’s life will you impact.
• Are you doing this to make the world a better place.
• Are you doing this for your kids?

Knowing your Why aid in the moments where you feel stuck or just doing busy work and NOT being productive.

If you are feeling stuck in this moment…perhaps you can’t focus because you are taking action on an intention/goal that you really don’t want…but it’s the easiest one that you think you can achieve. Stay Focused: The winning formula for getting what you want is Focus + Effort=Manifestation. Create a plan, implement it, stick to it, and BE PATIENT.
